My name is Marshelle Broadwell. I enjoy printmaking, art, craft, baking, and textiles. I have a desire to understand traditional processes, like canning and sewing, that create the everyday objects we sometimes take for granted and overlook. My art primarily focuses on culinary still life, in an attempt to convey the emotions, nostalgia, and memories associated with the enjoyment and creation of food. I often draw and paint foods that I cook.

I enjoy collaborating on projects with my husband, Jonathan, a photographer and a technological maker. I am a mother of two boys, and a trial court judge at the Marion Superior Court.
